About the Silent Fall Documentary

Have you ever heard a news story about child prostitution and wondered, why would a Cambodian family sell their 10-year old daughter into prostitution? or what leads a father in the Amazon basin to bury his baby alive? or how can a loving couple in India abort their baby simply because she's a girl? and what leads a Romanian woman to terminate seven pregnancies?

Infanticide, human trafficking, abandonment and abortion: behind every innocent victim is a story. Some are stories of extreme poverty, leading to impossible choices. Others are stories of tragic cultural pressures leaving one with seemingly no alternatives. All are stories that need to be told if we are to understand the erosion of the value of human life that has become an epidemic throughout the world.

The Silent Fall documentary is a global exploration of the cultural forces eroding the value of human life and the social injustices that result. Currently in production, this feature length documentary film is scheduled for release in Winter of 2010.
